The short version: JiuJiu has no account, no server and no analytics, so there is no data about you to hold, sell or lose. Everything below is the long version of that sentence.
The app collects nothing
JiuJiu has no account system, no server and no sync. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Your sessions, your techniques, your belt history and your notes are written to a file inside the app's own storage on your iPhone, and that is the only copy.
There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier and no third-party framework of any kind in the app. No screen you open and no button you tap is counted anywhere.
Where your training log lives
On your device, in the app's container. If you have iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup turned on, iOS includes that container in the backup the same way it does for every other app. That is between you, your device and Apple; JiuJiu is not part of it.
Delete the app and the log goes with it. Before you do, Settings has an export that writes the whole thing out as JSON and CSV so you can keep it.
What this website does
This site is static files served by Netlify. Like every web host, Netlify records ordinary request logs, which include your IP address and browser user agent, and uses them to serve the page and to spot abuse. Their privacy notice covers that.
There is no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no embedded third-party script. Nothing here sets a tracking cookie.
The one thing stored in your browser is a single localStorage entry named theme, holding either light or dark, so the page remembers which appearance you picked. It never leaves your browser and you can clear it with your normal browser data controls.
When you email
The contact page is a plain mailto link, so writing in means sending an ordinary email. That mail sits in a normal inbox and is used to answer you. It is not added to a mailing list and it is not passed to anyone else.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anybody, which includes children. There is no profile to build because nothing is transmitted.
Changes
The claims on this page are load-bearing for how the app is built. If a future version adds anything that sends data off the device, this page is updated in the same release and the date at the top changes with it.
